About
Albuquerque Gymnastics School was founded in June 1974 by John and Linda Charzuk. Pam Blackstone and Esther Jones ran it from 1985 for nearly four decades, and Kyle and Jen Georges took over in September 2024.
Preschool gymnastics serves ages 2–5, and boys' and girls' recreational classes start at 5. Competitive gymnasts train in the USA Gymnastics Developmental Program, from Levels 2–5 through Optionals 6–10, or in Xcel from Bronze to Diamond; a recent AGS Level 9 gymnast won the regional all-around title with a 37.050.
