Beyond Gymnastics

Beyond Gymnastics was founded in January 2018 by Taylor James and Taylor Cole Woolworth to give Baton Rouge children of all abilities an inclusive recreational gym. Progression-based classes run from 4 months to 12 years: a parent-and-child class for 8–18 months ($75 a month or $25 drop-in), a parent-participation toddler class for walking to 3, a 50-minute parent-free preschool class, and school-age classes on all four events, with Intermediate/Advanced placement by coach invitation. An Adult Gym class serves ages 18 and up.

Adaptive gymnastics is taught as private lessons, small groups and larger inclusive classes. Move & Learn is a movement-based preschool alternative for ages 2–5, 3 days a week, at $360 a month plus a one-time $95 registration fee. Camps for ages 4–12 run over school breaks and summer, and a monthly support group pairs a parent hour with supervised gym play.
