About

Reading Gymnastics Academy (RGA) bills itself as the #1 Xcel team program in New England and New York (Region 6) and fields girls' and boys' teams: girls compete USA Gymnastics Levels 2–10 and boys Levels 4–8, with Xcel for gymnasts who want competition without Level training intensity. Parents are not required to fundraise.

Classes run in 9-week sessions from mid-September to mid-June, starting with PlayGym (ages 1–3, with a parent), Mighty Monkey and Jr. Gym for ages 3–5, then girls' gymnastics and boys' power tumbling for 6–18. Saturday drop-in tumbling workouts for cheerleaders combine conditioning with standing and running tumbling. The gym has full men's and women's Olympic equipment, a foam pit, a dance room and a Ninja Room with a rock wall and warp wall.
