About
Mercury Gymnastics opened in 1998 and trains gymnastics, trampoline & tumbling, cheerleading and fitness in a 25,000 square foot facility. Its Tumble Stars preschool program has five levels with a skill chart for each child, starting with Mini Mini Moons (16 months–2 years) and Mini Moons (2–3), both 45-minute parent-participation classes.
The boys' competitive program covers ages 6–18 on all six Olympic events, from compulsory levels (ages 6–12) to optionals at Levels 7–10. Girls can compete in KC League Xcel, a lower-cost, lower-commitment program that attends 5–7 local meets, including a season-ending championship. Back handspring clinics are offered for ages 6–10 and 10–16.
