About
Altius Gymnastics Academy has trained gymnasts since 1984 and runs three tracks under one roof: gymnastics, ninja and aerial arts. Recreational gymnastics for boys and girls starts at age 5, Kindergym classes (including one for 3- and 4-year-olds) use a separate area with child-sized bars, beam, tumbling stations and its own pit, and Silks and Hoops classes take both new and experienced aerialists. An Adult Gymnastics Team is open to anyone 18 and up, no experience needed.
Competitive options include USA Gymnastics Development and Xcel teams for girls, a Development team for boys (both open from age 6 by skill readiness), and a travelling Ninja Team whose members have reached the UNAA and FINA World Championships. Altius also hosts UNAA and FINA qualifiers for ninjas 6 and up.
The 35,000+ square foot building has two spring floors, a rod floor, 35- and 18-foot Tumbl Traks, four in-ground pits, three resi-pit areas and ninja cages with warped walls.
