About
Aspinwall Gymnastic Center has been part of Aspinwall, a Pittsburgh suburb, for more than 25 years and has chosen to stay in its small gym rather than move. It says outright that it isn't trying to produce Olympians. After the Covid shutdown it dropped its USAG competitive team; the invitation-only team now trains fewer hours a week and holds intra-squad meets in the gym.
Tumblekids preschool classes (ages 3–5) run about 6 children per class. Gymnastics classes for ages 6–18 go from Beginner to Intermediate to Advanced, with a homeschool beginner/intermediate class on Fridays. Gymtots is supervised open play for crawlers to age 3 with a guardian.
