Great Northern Gymnastics was founded in St. Paul Park in 2003 by Dave Garske and Ron Hill to train boys and girls from the Cottage Grove area. Its 8,400 square feet of gym space holds at least 2 full sets of men's and women's Olympic events, in-ground resi pits, a tumble trak, 3 full-sized trampolines and a loose foam pit added in 2010.
A separate preschool gymnastics room for ages 18 months to 4 years has its own parent viewing area, and the lobby has a second viewing area and a pro shop.
